Sit back and relax with Southeastern, Kent’s premier rail provider, running train services to and from over 90 stations around Kent. As the quickest mode of transport and with great value fares, it’s the perfect way to explore the county without a car.
Southeastern operates the UK's only high speed train line, with Javelin trains travelling up to 140mph connecting top Kent destinations to London St Pancras. The service calls at Straford International in London, and Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International, and go on to call at numerous Kent locations including Canterbury, Folkestone, Medway, Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Dover.
With a variety of tickets to suit your needs, Southeastern ensure you can get from attraction to attraction with minimal fuss and costs. Buying train tickets online couldn’t be easier, and they will be posted first class free of charge, or you can collect from the self-service ticket machine at the station.
Southeastern operates Peak and Off-Peak services. Peak times are the busiest and vary from weekdays to weekends, usually early morning (6-9am) and in the later afternoon (5-8pm). Off-peak times are quieter and offer the best value ticket prices, although you may be required to travel at specific times of the day, days of the week or on a specific route.
Some of the most popular and best value tickets include the Weekender ticket (allowing you return travel off-peak across the weekend), a Group Save ticket, (where 4 people can travel for the price of 2 adults when travelling together), or the Kids for a Quid ticket, a great option for family days out.
Travelling with Southeastern couldn’t be easier. Quick and accurate arrival and departure information is available at all stations as well as on-board. Relax in the comfy surroundings on-board, with toilets and refreshments available on many services.
For those needing help or assistance at railway stations, Southeastern provides great customer service in helping with journey requirements, facilities and accessibility.
