Easter Family Fun: VE Day at Royal Engineers Museum

VE Day stands for Victory in Europe Day and was created as a public holiday to mark the defeat of Germany by the Allied forces in the Second World War. First celebrated on May 8th 1945 more than 1 million people celebrated in the streets of cities, towns and villages in the UK! Join in with us and create wooden bunting ready for your own celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
Activities run from 11am to 3pm each day & cost £2.50 in addition to standard admission prices. A £0.50 discount is available with Museum Friends’ membership or Snob the Dog loyalty card.
