Christmas at Scotney Castle
1st December - 2nd January 2019
A visit to Scotney castle this Christmas is bound to get everyone in the mood for the festive season. The house is open and decorated for a traditional Victorian Christmas Eve with lights sparkling in the low light and the atmosphere of anticipation surrounding you. On selected dates, Father Christmas and Mrs Claus will be hosting storytelling sessions in the Old Castle for a sprinkle of extra magic. Children can take part in the Noah’s Ark trail as they venture down through the garden to see them. Between 26 November and 21 December, from Monday to Friday, let someone else do the cooking and treat yourself to a traditional festive lunch in the cosy tearoom. Avoid the busy high street and get all the Christmas goodies you need in the shop once you’ve polished off lunch.
Price: Normal admission applies. Trail, Father Christmas and lunches all priced separately
