1940's Weekend on Kent & East Sussex Railway

Enjoy period music, dancers, vehicles, displays and entertainment.
Visitors will be given their own identity cards and can enjoy unlimited travel for the day, with steam trains running every 45 minutes between Tenterden and Bodiam. There is a packed programme of events at stations and parking is free at Tenterden and Northiam.
The Tenterden Refreshment Rooms will be open for breakfast from 10am, with hot and cold meals served throughout the day. The gift shop is open throughout the weekend.
Bodiam Castle is a short walk from Bodiam Station. Presenting a valid train ticket entitles passengers to discounted entry into the Castle.
There is free entry to the award-winning Col. Stephens Railway Museum, which tells the story of Col. H.F. Stephens, the founder of the Kent & East Sussex Railway, who promoted light railways across the country.
Admission including an all-day Travel Card: Adult £18, Child (3-15 years inc) £12, Family (2 adults 2 children or 1 adult and up to 3 children) £42.
Pre-booking tickets for collection on the day is strongly recommended.
