In the North Downs on a working farm, Springfield Barn is one of two unique properties that have been thoughtfully restored from original farm buildings with many of the exposed timbers and interesting features retained. For those who enjoy the countryside there is an abundance of wildlife in the area and in the spring, nightingales can be heard singing across the valley between the surrounding woodlands. With Downland Nature Reserve, which is a sanctuary for rare species of orchid and other ornate plants, close by and an excellent network of well maintained footpaths and bridle ways leading from the door nature lovers will be in their element. The nearest pub and shop is about a 10 minute drive. Springfield Barn is unusual in design, having an open barn appearance retaining the character and atmosphere of the original building, with an abundance of exposed timbers. The majority of the cottage is on one level. It has a spacious lounge/dining room with comfortabl e furnishings.
