Kent is easy to get to!
Situated in the southeast corner of England, Kent is an easy place to get to whether you’re travelling by road, rail or air.

Kent’s excellent road network and efficient local transport systems, as well of hundreds of miles of way-marked cycling and walking routes ensure you are well looked after once you’ve arrived.
As the closest point to mainland Europe (21 miles at the nearest point to be exact!), Kent is also well placed for visitors travelling from the continent, so you too can be enjoying the Garden of England.
P&O Ferries, DFDS, MyFerryLink and Eurotunnel carry visitors across the channel every day and KLM connects with twice daily flights to Manston, Kent’s International Airport from Amsterdam (Schiphol) to destinations across the world.
With London under an hour away (with Southeastern's high speed links), Kent becomes an ideal weekend break or day trip for visitors, filled with great transport routes around the county.
