Barnsole Vineyard
Visitors are most welcome to this family run vineyard, which currently extends over an area of 3 acres (1.2 hectares), a size that still allows close attention to detail so as to produce high quality grapes. Our wines achieve Quality Wine status and gain awards in our National Wine Competition.

Free entry
Wine tasting free. We also offer free mini-tours, lasting about 20 minutes, in which you will be shown how we grow and tend the vines and how the wine is made. We are happy to give advice on vine pruning and care to amateur growers.
Full guided vineyard tours are also available at a charge of £1.50 per person. We are happy to entertain larger groups, for which there is a charge of £1.00 per person for groups of 20 or more. Our wines are available for direct sale.

From Canterbury taking the A257 towards Sandwich: take the first turning off the bypass into Ash and then take the first turning on the right into Durlock Road. After 1 mile, on reaching Staple, take a sharp left turn at a T-junction. The vineyard is on the left a little past Layham Garden Centre.

We are happy to entertain larger groups at a discount but preferably by prior arrangement.
