Grandparents travel free on KESR!
Children can treat their grandparent's to a nostalgic day out for FREE on the Kent & East Sussex Railway during a special grandparents' weekend on 17 and 18 April; when every child rover ticket purchased (costing £7.80) entitles a grandparent to travel for free.
Every ticket includes a return train ride from Tenterden station on one of the steam or diesel trains; which gently wind their way along the 10 ½ mile line through stunning Wealden countryside and the Rother Valley before terminating at Bodiam station.
Half Price Wednesday at Bedgebury
The National Pinetum at Bedgebury in Kent's beautiful High Weald is the perfect place for fresh air, exercise and burning off the Christmas calories amongst the world's most spectacular collection of conifers.
Bedgebury is offering a Half Price Wednesday discount from the beginning of January till the end of March (excluding February half term), with an admission price per car of only £3.50, plus savings on cycle hire and refreshments.
