Minnis Bay to Reculver Country Park
Location: Minnis Bay - Reculver
Distance: Linear walk of 3.7 miles (6km) one-way, or 7.4 miles (12km) returning to the start.
A lovely sea walk following the Viking Coastal Trail, passing a salt-water lagoon, a working oyster farm, and the Reculver Towers and Roman Fort.
White Cliffs of Dover
Location: White Cliffs Visitor Centre, Dover - South Foreland Lighthouse
Distance: Linear walk of 4 miles (6.4km). Allow 3 hours.
Discover the magnificent White Cliffs of Dover along this refreshing walk overlooking the English Channel - one of the busiest stretches of water in the world. The distinctive white lighthouse was built in 1843, to mark the dangerous offshore banks of the Goodwin Sands.
