Dover

The town famous for its white cliffs has a thriving arts community and the Charlton Art Centre, managed by the White Cliffs Creatives Guild features work by local artists and craftworkers. Visit the Centre to view the Gallery, meet the artists, see working demonstrations, and attend workshops.

Dover Arts Development (DAD) was founded in January 2006 to initiate and deliver high quality contemporary art projects in Dover. DAD's projects are not dependent on permanent premises so visit the DAD website to see detailed information about DAD'S past and current projects.

The Dover Art Trail is a walking trail that shows the best of the art, including sculptures, statues and art galleries that can be found in the town.

A changing programme of artists' work and community based exhibitions can be seen in the Dover Pride Centurion House Box Gallery, Bench Street, Dover, CT16 1RG. The Gallery comprises 3 shop windows so that work is viewable day and night, 7 days a week.

The Chalk & Channel Way is a walking and cycling trail between Dover and Folkestone and a series of art works have been installed along the route; a free leaflet is available from White Cliffs Countryside Project. Telephone +44 (0)1304 241806.
