Active Coast
Kent's boating and watersports environment is one of clean air and water, superb coastal scenery, excellent facilities and a warm welcome. Make the most of good sailing waters from Margate to Whitstable or enjoy bird and seal watching cruises, setting sail off Herne Bay and Ramsgate.
Get your adrenaline pumping try catching blasts of sea air kite surfing. Minnis Bay is a great place to learn, with its gently shelving sandy beach making is safe for beginners. If the thrill and excitement of powering across the water is more up your street, Herne Bay is a must for jet-ski junkies with its large open beaches providing excellent conditions. If you fancy surfing the waves, put your skills to the test at Joss Bay.
