Your Big Day Out 2009
The Big Day Out was held on 28th March 2009 and celebrated what it is that makes Kent unique by offering thousands of FREE tickets to a wide range of places to local residents so that they could experience at first hand all that their county has to offer them.
See at first hand the participants' Big Day Out experiences through a range of photo and video clips taken on the day and maybe you will be inspired to visit one of the attractions featured.
Your Big Day Out in Pictures
This year we are running a competition on the theme of People and Places. We will be awarding two prizes:
- One for the photo that best captures you, your friends and family enjoying yourselves on the Big Day Out.

The prize for both categories in the photo competiton is a National Trust Annual Membership for two people.
Email your pictures of the Big Day Out 2009 to bigdayout@visitkent.co.uk, with a brief description, and we'll upload a selection of images onto the Visit Kent website.

Big Day Out Video Competition
Kent TV and Visit Kent invite participants of Kent's Big Day Out to capture Kent on film. We want you to submit video footage of no more than 5 minutes inspiring others to visit your chosen location in Kent.

There are three prizes for the video competition: a National Trust Annual Membership for two people, a family ticket to Howletts or Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, and entry tickets for 4 people into Diggerland.
