Ramsgate Town Carnival has been an annual event since 1926.
Ramsgate Carnival this year which is on Sunday 20th July starting at 4.00pm at the Royal Esplanade on the West Cliff. On Government Acre on the Royal Esplanade over the weekend a fairground will provide rides and entertainment for all the family with the addition of a market on Sunday the carnival day from noon.
The carnival will leave the Royal Esplanade at 4.00 pm and proceed along the following route
Royal Esplanade - St Augustine's Rd – Paragon - Royal Parade - Harbour Parade - Harbour Parade -
Madeira Walk - Wellington Crescent - Plains of Waterloo - King St - Queen St - West Cliff Rd -
Grange Rd - Royal Esplanade – Finish.
We would like to invite individuals (children and adults) clubs, pubs, businessmen, bands, schools, youth groups to step forward and be involved in the carnival and have fun entertaining visitors and locals and promote your organisation or business, each class will complete for a trophy.
