The little-known links between north Kent and a native American princess are being celebrated with a series of events in 2017. Pocahontas visited England four centuries ago and now the town of Gravesend, which became her final resting place, is paying homage to her story.
Basecamp, Betteshanger's action-packed school holiday club, is back for February half-term.
Drop the children off at 10am and we’ll guarantee them an exhilarating, fun-filled day at the Park. They'll try their hand at awesome activities, including archery, cycling, geocaching and fossil hunting; make new friends and have great fun in a safe outdoor environment.
Book them in for the day or for the week. We promise that when they’re collected at the end of the day they will be tired, full of tales to tell and most probably, muddy!
Basecamp runs weekdays throughout half term On each day the children will try three activities before finishing the afternoon with team games.
Basecamp is run by qualified instructors and is suitable for ages 8-14. Sessions cost £25 per day, bike hire, helmets and all activity equipment are included.
