60s Show: The Merseybeats, Steve Ellis & Vanity Fare & Dave Berry

Friday 10th Febuary 2017

Relive the fabulous 60s with an evening extravaganza of pop legends!

The Merseybeats were originally managed by Brian Epstein, and performed at The Cavern Club  along with The Beatles on more occasions than any other band. Their hits include ‘Don’t Turn Round’, ‘Wishin & Hopin’, ‘Sorrow’, ‘I Think Of You’. With founding members Tony Crane on lead vocals and lead guitar, Billy Kinsley on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, they are joined by guitarist since 1974 Bob Packham,  Dave Goldberg and Lou Rosenthal.

Steve Ellis, East End pop legend, was the front man with ’60s band Love Affair, with No 1 hits such as ‘Everlasting Love’, ‘Rainbow Valley’ and ‘Bringing On Back The Good Times’. Having continued solo success in the ’70s and with recent collaborations with best friend Paul Weller, Steve is playing his old and new hits with his band Love Affair. One of the original Mods, Ellis has one of the best soul voices Britain has produced.

Pop star Dave Berry was one of  the biggest singers in the 60s with hits such as ‘The Crying Game’, ‘Little Things’ and ‘Baby its You’.
