13 Dec 2016 - 15 Jan 2017

As 2016 draws to a close, Broadstairs artists and gallery directors, Karen HIscock-Lawrence and Brian Hodgson will be celebrating the year with a large scale mixed exhibition that will be their take on a mix of the RA summer show and the Affordable art show.

They will have over 70 works of art on display to admire and buy on the build up to Christmas. With paintings, prints, ceramics, photography, glass, jewellery and crafts to present, they will be offering local residents and visitors to Broadstairs the chance to view the best of local artists including Darren Lewis, Ross Andrews, Patrick Wilkins, Anthony Giles, James Davies, Mel Chennell, Andy Johnson, Kate Baker, Sarah Stokes, Emily Tull, Melanie Tong, Ieuan Edwards, Angela Carpenter, John Hughes and many more.

'We want to promote the amazing wealth of talent in Thanet and encourage people to buy local and support local talent. If you want to buy someone a truly individual and special gift for Christmas this year, pop into the Broadstairs New Kent Art Gallery and take your pick of some wonderful work. The gallery can also provide gift vouchers that can give people the chance to choose their own favourite piece in the New Year if they would prefer. Why buy grandpa socks when you could buy him a hand turned bowl or print of Ramsgate harbour!'

The show opens on Tuesday 13th Dec and runs right up until 4pm Christmas Eve before closing for Christmas and re-opening the first weekend of 2017.
