Two Totally Wild Days Out

Howletts & Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks were set up in 1957 by the late John Aspinall with the aim of protecting and breeding rare and endangered species and returning to safe areas in their native homeland. World leaders in conservation, today the two wild animal parks are home to over 1000 animales and 90 different species.

 

Port Lympne Day Safari

Hop on one of our specially commissioned safari vehicles and take a 90 minute safari ride during your visit to the park. The on-board commentary will tell you all you need to know about the fascinating creatures and surroundings of The African Experience.
Explore the Discovery Zone at the halfway stop, where you'll meet some remarkable creatures from all over the world such as snakes, tarantulas, chameleons and zebra mice. You'll also find out some fascinating facts about our planet and why so many precious wild animals face extinction.
Pop into the Serengeti Bazaar for a fabulous choice of presents and mementos of your trip. Enjoy tasty hot and cold snacks on the terraces overlooking the African Experience before boarding the safari vehicle and heading out onto the plains once more.

Port Lympne Dawn Safari

See the African Experience come to life with the sunrise.  Arrive for a welcome drink before you set out on a specially commissioned, covered safari vehicle with your expert guide on board. 
A delicious full English breakfast will be served in the Conservatory restaurant following your dawn safari.  You are then free to wander the park at your leisure for the rest of the day.

Port Lympne Dusk Safari

Witness beautiful colours as the African Experience prepares for nightfall.  Enjoy a welcome glass of ‘bubbly' before you set out on the specially commissioned, covered safari vehicle with an expert guide on board to answer all of your questions. 
The safari is completed with a sumptuous meal with a glass of wine in the Conservatory restaurant.  Free all day access to the park before your safari is included.

Howletts Shuttle Safari

Enjoy a welcome drink in the summer surroundings of Howletts Wild Animal Park. Once on board the 10 seat, luxury golf buggy your guide will introduce you to our delightful animals as their day ends and all is peace and quiet.
You'll gain an incredible insight into the workings of this magical place. Join us afterwards for a delicious two course meal in the Pavilion restaurant.

Howletts Twilight Walking Safari

After a cool drink, take a fascinating summer stroll through world famous Howletts Wild Animal Park. Meet and wonder at our delightful animals as their day ends and all is peace and quiet. You will be guided by one of our knowledgeable guides and given an incredible insight into the workings of this magical place.
Afterwards join us for a delicious meal in the newly refurbished Pavilion restaurant.

12.30 - Return to the Mansion
