Visitors to Goodnestone are always suprised to discover such a haven of beauty and tranquilliyy hidden away in south east Kent. The 14 acres of 18th Century parkland are resplendent with rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias.

Walmer Castle Gardens

Walmer Castle and Gardens

The gardens of Walmer Castle hold much of horticultural and historical interest. The moat that once surrounded the fort now hosts a wide variety of flowers and other greenery. There is also a commemorative lawn, woodland walk, croquet lawn and a working kitchen garden, as well as a double herbaceous border flanked by mature yew hedges.

Sandwich
