Located in the idyllic setting of Headcorn Aerodrome in a historic airfield that operated before the Second World War, it is a delightful setting to take a flying lesson, or start your tour of Kent.
Experience Flights allows you to experience the thrill of flying in a helicopter without necessarily taking the controls. This is perfect for building your confidence and to test your feelings about helicopter flying.
Introductory Lessons consist of a pre-briefing followed by a 25 minute, 40 minute or full hour flight starting from the Aerodrome and flying north towards the spectacular Leeds Castle, which provide magnificent views from the air.

Helicopters can hold between 1 and 5 people at any one time, and the pilot will ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey. Operating from our Purpose Built Facility at Rochester Airport, AV8 are focused on providing a First Class, Efficient and Professional service for both leisure and charter helicopters. All of Helicopters are fitted with dual controls and during the flight you will be encouraged to fly the aircraft yourself with the assistance of our flight Instructor.

Gift Experiences are also available offering the chance to see the sights that gave Hellfire Corner it's name. Take off from Rochester Airport and fly along the famous White Cliffs of Dover. You can see the gun emplacements, shell holes and fly over historic Dover Castle.
