Meopham Valley Vineyard
A wide variety of grapes that respond well to the local climate are now grown - Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Madeleine Angevine, Reichensteiner, Triomphe and Leon Millot. No herbicides or pesticides are used at the vineyard.
Meopham's English White, Red, Rosé and sparkling wines have won numerous awards and in local and national wine competitions. The owners are licensed to sell wine by the bottle or case from the vineyard shop which is situated at the rear of Norway House. Limited Parking is available.
Parties of up to 25 people are welcome to tour the vineyard by appointment - the tour includes a wine tasting as visitors go round.
A passionate interest in wine inspired David and Pauline Grey to establish the award winning Meopham Valley Vineyard in 1991 with the advice of Gillian Pearkes, a renowned authority on grape growing in Britain.
